DEVIANTWEAR CONTESTS!


deviantWEAR is kickin' into high gear for deviantART's 7th birthday. The deviantWEAR store now features three new shirts, a new tank top for the ladies, and (for the first time ever) a deviantART sticker pack!

Join the deviantWEAR staff in #shop for a little bit of birthday fun. We'll be hosting trivia, various challenges, scavenger hunts, and even giving away over $777 worth of prizes (including the new line of shirts, classic design hits from the past, subscriptions, and more).



CONTEST SCHEDULE! (All times Pacific Standard Time)


7am – deviantWEAR One Week Design Jam

In honor of deviantART's 7th birthday, we're hosting a one week deviantWEAR Design Jam. During this period we're allowing deviants to submit their best ideas for deviantWEAR shirt designs. At the contest's end, at least one design will be chosen as a grand prize winner and will ultimately appear as an official deviantWEAR shirt available in the deviantWEAR store.

Prize: $400 cash, a one year deviantART subscription, any two previous (and in stock) deviantWEAR shirts, and also two shirts of (their own) winning design.


9am - Artistic Action Shot Competition

Already own deviantWEAR? (Any official item will do.) If so, this contest is for you! Grab your deviantWEAR, come up with an awesome way to display your deviantART love, snap a photo, and upload your deviation to deviantART Related > deviantWEAR > Action Shots. Once done, post a link in deviantWEAR's userpage comments.

Prize: Any new deviantWEAR product. (Optional: have it autographed by the admin of your choice.)


11am - Meet in #shop for trivia challenges.

Prize: Any new deviantWEAR product. (Optional: have your new shirt pre-worn by the admin of your choice.)


1pm – deviantWEAR Stamp Contest

You love deviantWEAR. We love deviantWEAR. But that's not enough. deviantWEAR domination for the win! Help us spread the good deviantWEAR word by creating a stamp. Submit entries between 1pm and 3pm Pacific by posting deviation links in deviantWEAR's userpage comments.

Prize: One in Ekto Hoodie (a $48 value! OMG).


3pm - Write It to Win It

Feeling creative? Then, write it to win it! Head over to the deviantWEAR store, check out the new products, and get inspired! Write a short product description for any item and post your thoughts in deviantWEAR's userpage comments. (Feel free to write a product description for one item or for them all.) Be funny, be serious, be creative!

Prize: Win the item that you write a description for!


5pm – Webcam Competition

Amazing! We've set up a webcam in the deviantWEAR mail room! Now you can spy on us 24/7 ... or, you can at least spy on us every 60 seconds because the cam takes a new still photo every minute.

From 5pm to 6pm the deviantWEAR crew promises to be front and center, hamming it up for the camera. During this time be sure to watch and refresh the webcam image on deviantWEAR's userpage. Save any cam shot to your computer, edit in a fun caption or jazz it up in some manner, submit the updated version as a deviation, and post a link in deviantWEAR's userpage comments.

Prize: Any new deviantWEAR product. (Optional: a date with lolly or $Moonbeam13.)


7pm – Meet in #shop for deviantWEAR scavenger hunt.

Prize: Any new deviantWEAR product. (Optional: every deviantART HQ employee will autograph your deviantWEAR package.)

Watch for last chance 'Easter eggs' in the deviantWEAR inventory. We recently tore through the boxes in the deviantWEAR storage room and are clearing out leftovers from long ago. Almost all our designs are 100% sold out, never to be reprinted again, but there are still a few shirts available that have been set aside over the years. If you had your heart set on something from a past series, this might be the last chance you'll ever have to purchase it! Stock will be posted at random throughout the day.
